The Innocent Killer
Her body was numb, her mind was lost. A young girl with a huge secret. With no love from her family she searched for that feeling of affection from anyone she could get it from. Although the feeling of affection made up for her families neglection, it came with an unwanted guest, a guest who could give her the happiness and affection she’s been seeking for. Due to her actions she lost that person.
Her body was numb, her mind was lost. Now in her early twenties, peer pressure has taken over her life. The pressure to do things shes never thought about doing, and she accepts. At first she hesitates, but then she does it. Within the first ten minutes she begins to feel different. Although she is nervous, she feels comfort, like all of her troubles have vanished. She loves the feeling and begins to want to feel it all the time.
Her body was numb, her mind was lost, No longer a child, the mind of an adult trapped inside such an insecure, yet nieve body. The body of a women stripped of innocence and exposed to things she thought were normal at such a young age. Her body, once a temple, beautiful and sacred, now knocked down and destroyed by herself and the people she thought were trying to help her. Over and over again she tells herself it is just a coping method. Without it shes a mess, with it shes worse but all she knows is the feeling it gives her. She’s so in love with the feeling that nothing else matters anymore. She’s in love with the thing that continues to trick her into being happy and finally feeling strong. She can’t be saved anymore. So far down the path to hell, she can’t even remember how amazing heaven would feel. With no one to help her any longer besides her coping method, she tells herself she can stop whenever she wants, but she lies every time. Walking on air, she is addicted.
Her body was numb her mind was lost. As the pain grew worse, so did her desire to stop it. She sat up on her bed, remembering all of the people who have ever hurt her. Remembering the love she never got from her family, the man who took something precious from her she could never get back, and her unborn child she never got to hold, she began to break down. One turned to five as the feeling she loved didn't feel the same anymore. It took over her body and she wished she could go back to her childhood. She could have changed one thing and everything would have been okay. She takes her last breath as she drops to the floor.
Her body was numb, her mind was lost. Her coping method was her innocent killer.
