Good Bye World
Why do we fall?, its a difficult question with a difficult answer.
Some people think we don't fall unless were pushed, others know that, that's not always true. They know that you don't have to push to be the cause of someone falling. A simple comment can push someone right over the edge, or keep them from falling.
Many people we know have already fallen. The happiest people are the best actors.
There was a girl named Sarah and she was one of the best actors at my school, nobody could tell there was anything wrong. But in her mind nobody cared. At school she was just another kid that faded into the background. Her best and only friend of 4 years had moved away last month, and she'd been feeling very lonely lately.
She thought today is the day I end my life. She wrote "Good Bye World" on her desk. The teacher noticed her not doing her work and called her to her desk, so she could scold her. While she was getting in trouble a boy in her class, looked at her desk and read what she had wrote. He quickly replied to her sad statement, by writing a comment back on her desk. He wrote "Please don't, there are so many reasons to stay." When she got back to her desk she was shocked and embarrassed that someone had read what she wrote and actually responded. That evening when she got home, instead of doing what she had planned she decided not to, thinking back to that person that cared enough to respond to a message that could of had no meaning.
Everyday since then he puts notes in her locker giving her reasons to stay and things that he likes about her. She still has no idea who sends these notes, but because of them she talks more now and has made some new friends.
Everyday she gets a note she thanks god for her own savior, who saved her from ending a life. She also thanks her savior for giving her hope, and not letting her fall, when she was so close to the edge.
