I am a coyote
Sneaky and sly as I slip through the woods
Snow covered brush takes my cover
Patiently waiting for a sign of prey
Punctual and prompt
Possums, rabbits and rodents are never safe
Hunting and stalking is my forte
Hoping I don’t get beat to my ground
Hills and Rivers are where I rome.
Head on a swivel to watch my back
