As I walk in the café the aroma of pumpkin spice and coffee grounds blasts in my nostrils filling me with thoughts of autumn. I ordered myself a hot chocolate and pumpkin nut muffin after the long dwindling line of work office coffee addicts; I slowly sip the hot chocolate as it hits my taste buds I know they use real chocolate that’s why I come here but it feels like a warm hug inside of me and I smile. As I drown out the café murmur and stuff my face a tingle in my head makes me feel as if I’m being watched. I get up to dispose of my light snack as I look around the light from the autumn sun reflecting off the feline eyes closely watching me with mischief constantly shifting colors. Where ever I moved so did her eyes, I was so tempted to make a smart remark but I bit my tongue. I sat down at the table and her eyes left mine staring down at the table. Her curly hair brown, black, and fiery red ends her brown puffy hair was also stunning when the sun shined on it.
“Hey my name is Gink what’s yours?” I said smiling at her wondering why she wasn’t looking at me now.
“Xianna” she replied staring out of the window.
I noticed her clothes she had a purple hoodie on sprinkled with cats with big eyes and yellow tights on with combat boots, I chuckled looking at the design it reminded me of a little kids hoodie.
“What are you laughing at?”  She asks turning towards me.
I smiled and replied “Your style is intriguing but I like it.”
She smiles at me and twists her hair and untwist it. Her smile was so breath taking it made me smile.
“Do you ..?” her smile fades a little.
I tilt my head a bit “Do I what?”
“Do you like me or what I’m wearing?” She asks me while looking down at the table.
I don’t know what got into me but I gently grab her hand, it was so smooth like a baby’s skin.
“Hey look at me.” I said gently lifting her head up.
She looks at me with her kaleidoscope eyes and says “yes?”
I look at her for a moment and reply “Yes I do like you your one interesting girl and I like your style too.”
She squeezes my hand and laughs “Thank you I can say the same about you.”
I chuckle with her. She gets up and licks the side of my face and places a piece of paper on the table and darts out of the café. As I sit in shock customers stare at me and giggle I get up and go to the bathroom to wash my face. I’m not sure what made her do that but I grab the paper it had her name number and address on it I smiled and put the contact in my phone. As I look back I never expected her to be my greatest friend then later on my greatest enemy.
