Character Sketch
Sitting in the back of the room, away from everyone else, on his DS being his usual antisocial self. At first glance you’d think he was at a small high school rave rather than his parents business party. All curled up in the corner with an American Eagle hoodie that was as blue as the ocean and jeans that were worn and stained with grass from exploring the woods. Hair covering one of his big brown eyes that reflected the forest with a midnight sky hanging over it. Skin that was rough and callused, but only on his hands which might of been from climbing something with a rough surface, the rest of his skin was almost like newborn baby’s. He seemed to get outside a lot seeing that it was half way into summer and he already looked almost like caramel.
The mixture of teenage sweat and the smell of fruit was combined to make an “interesting” smell at the least. He had some slip on shoes on that were gray, much like the stone on the fire place, and he was looking at them when he saw another pair of shoes walk up to him that were so shiny they could have been lathered in baby oil and so black that they could be a bottomless pit into another dimension or at least to the other side of space. As the out of place introvert slowly raised his head and saw a weird combination of fancey and bearded. The man was wearing a tux and bow tie that were just as black as his shoes, but less shiny, underneath a white as snow button up. And now this is where things get weird. The man had a big grin with cheeks that were like a pale apple and on top of that face was a rough ungroomed and untamed beard and hair to match. His eyes were sky blue that you could have flown a plane into them. His fingernails were a bit yellowed, most likely from smoking all those years. “Omega,” he said with friendly but somewhat rough voice, “why didn’t you ask to go to a friends house? You could have stayed there.”
“Because all of my friends are busy,” Omega replied. “I know that is a lie,” the man responded, “Why would you rather play video games than hang out with your friends?” “I just feel very determined to beat this and I won’t give up now,” Omega rebelled. “You won’t be giving up,” the man countered “You will just be putting it on pause for a while.” “Yeah good luck with that Nathan,” Omega said as he was biting his already chewed fingernails, “Seeing as I can’t drive and we live 25 miles out of town there is a very small chance that I will be visiting someone now.” Nathan replied saying, “Just try next time okay?” Nathan walked away to talk with other people. “No promises,” Omega mumbled as his step dad walked away.
