Scene Set Up- This scene takes place in the main halls of the mall. There is a backdrop of some of the stores. The stores that are on the backdrop are Michael Kors, Lululemon, Pink, and H&M. Each store has a sale and all of which have huge sale signs hanging up in their windows. Two characters walk in from the right side and go into center stage. Enter both characters.

Jessica: Which store do you think we should go into first, all of them have some good deals today.
Sarah: It is not like we’re going to buy anything anyways. *Sarah says while looking at her phone* So we can just go into anyone it doesn’t matter.
Jessica: What do you mean? I actually did come here to buy something I have Christmas money to spend.
Sarah: I have a crazy idea that I think we should try, It’s not like you are actually looking to spend all of your money right?
Jessica: Well not necessarily, but I do want to buy new clothes and jewelry.
Sarah: Follow me. *Walking into the Michael Kors store*

Next Scene Set-up- The stage is set up now as the Michael Kors store. When you first walk into the store to the left there is the shelving of the designer handbag to the write there is the setup of all the clothing and shoes. And straight ahead you see the jewelry with the necklaces, watches, etc. The girls enter the store.

Jessica: Since we are here I am going to look at the Jackets, I have always wanted one.
Sarah: Better yet lets grab one and try it on. *Walking into the fitting rooms*
Jessica: Why do we need to go into the fitting rooms to try on a jacket when I can try it on right here.
Sarah: Don’t question it now come in here, *gesturing to Jessica to come in the room*
Jessica: *walks into the fitting room*, Sarah what are you doing?
*Sarah grabs a pair of scissors and cuts out the hidden security tag and around the store security stage*
Sarah:  What were you actually planning on paying $200 on this jacket?
Jessica: Well I didn’t know if I was actually going to buy one yet.
Sarah: Well now you do not have to worry about spending your money.
*Sarah puts on the jacket and walks out of the fitting room and out of the Michael Kors store without the sensors going off*

Next Scene: The girls walk out of the store and now are walking around the mall. They stop by some couches where there are plants and vending machines set up so people can relax during shopping. There is a hall to the left that has bathrooms and more vending machines as well as a small urgent care. The girls walk towards the restrooms.
Jessica: Sarah I feel like someone is following us.
Sarah: It is just because you are paranoid there is no one following us you just have to stay calm.
Jessica: *Glances behind her and notices a security guard walking sort of fast towards them* Sarah there is a guard, let us just pretend that we are going to the bathroom and maybe they will not follow us.
Sarah: Good idea, it seems as if you’ve done this before.
Jessica: Well I haven’t, I’ve never even thought about stealing anything before.
Sarah: *walking down the hall into the bathroom and closing the door*

Next scene setup- They are in the bathroom, it is kind of small with three stalls, three sinks, there is a garbage can in the corner. Both characters enter from the right side of the stage and walk towards the garbage cans.
Jessica: Sarah what are you doing?
Sarah: The last thing you want is if a security guard walks in that they see us holding the stuff we stole. *throwing the watch in the garbage and walking towards the stall, puts the  jacket on the hook, locking the stall and crawling under the bottom of the stall to make sure it stays locked.
Jessica: We are in so much trouble Sarah. And where did you get the watch from anyways.
Sarah: That’s only if we get caught, Jess you need to calm down and act natural there is nothing they can do if they do not have proof. And I grabbed it right before I met you by the jackets.
Jessica: What happens if the guard walks in and realizes that you are not wearing the jacket anymore?
Sarah: If she asks I’ll say it must have been someone before us, they cannot prove I was.
Jessica: You realize there are cameras right?
Sarah: We will deal with that if the time comes stop worrying!
Jessica: I hear someone coming *rushes into a bathroom stall pretending to go to the bathroom.
*Security guard enters the bathroom*
Security Guard: Good afternoon, How are you today?
Sarah: It’s going good how is your day? *Washing her hands*
Security Guard: Is everything ok? I noticed you walked in here and have been here for awhile.
Sarah: Oh yeah! My friend isn’t really feeling good so I was just going to wait here until she felt better.
Security Guard: Alright. Well just find someone if you need any help. *walking towards a bathroom stall*
Sarah: Will do.
Jessica: *walking out of the bathroom stall* Sarah, I’m starting to feel better I think I’ll be able to make home.
*security guard walks out of the stall and towards the sink where they are standing*
Sarah: Alright sounds good, wash your hands and we can head out!
Security Guard: Well you girls have a nice day, and I hope you feel better.
*security guard leaves the bathroom*
Jessica: What do we do now?
Sarah: Well now that she’s gone and I have a big bag from another store we can put this stuff in it and then leave.
Jessica: Are you sure about this Sarah?
Sarah: Trust me Jess!

End of scenes- The girls walk out of the bathroom through the doors and out to their car. They leave the mall without anyone finding out that they stole anything and exchanged no more words of what had happened that day and no questions have been asked.
