Steve comes into the world that has just been created. He is confused and doesn’t know what is happening. Everything looks… looks, he can see, but before, there was nothing. No sight, no hearing, no feeling the ground beneath his feet. He doesn’t remember anything before now, but here he stands, on the earth, not wherever he was before, some sort of, void. Wait, there is, a now. There was no time before this moment. Who had created him? There must be somebody, somewhere, on this earth. He starts walking around, walking? Steve had never done this action before, or any action at that matter. Then he started to sprint, like walking, but much faster. He wishes he could find someone in the world, he desires something. This is the first time he has wanted something, or felt anything, other than confusion, which he had also just experienced for the first time in his life… life? Steve was, alive? He wanted to murmur this to himself, but he had no idea how to speak, considering he had just been born, or created. Steve was still astonished by how he was able to walk and run. He now sets himself a sort of goal: find something or someone else alive in this land, no matter how long it takes, or how far he must travel. Steve feels like he must find someone or else he might go mad, considering that he can do that now. He starts to search in a nearby area where tall things have been growing out of the ground. He made up a word for these in his head… trees. He would say it to himself, but he still hadn’t figured out the whole… talking thing. As he searches, he comes upon a strange creature that seemed to have twice as many legs as him, and it walked on all four of them. It was mostly white and grey. Steve walked near and the creature let out an odd noise, which scared Steve and made him jump back. Even though the creature seemed friendly, Steve was still frightened by the sort of, bark, or howl the creature had let out. But, even in Steve’s terror, he was glad to see something else was alive in this place, whatever it was. However, Steve wanted to find something that he could communicate with. So he walked away, hoping to find something else that was alive. Steve felt nauseous just thinking about what had happened just a while ago. Nausea was another first time feeling for Steve, and was his least favorite. Steve continued to walk, even though it felt endless, like the place he was in before. When suddenly, he came upon a village. He walked into the village, which seemed quite deserted, like a ghost town. He walked inside one of the roofed buildings and lay down on a comfy surface. He felt tired, and fell asleep. Steve then burst awake a bit later, when it was dark, screaming. He hated whatever he had just done, it felt like he was back in the void, so dark, and cold. “I just yelled, whoa.” Wait, he just spoke… “I’m… speaking, but how?” Steve didn’t know how he was talking, but he carried on. He didn’t want to leave the roofed building with the comfy surface, so he stayed. He then started to get a very bad stomach pain, so he stayed in the building. It hurt so bad, so he didn’t leave, he stayed, for days, and days. This stomach pain` never left, and Steve felt as if he was going to be killed from the pain, and he soon would be if he didn’t do something… Because that pain was no stomachache, it was hunger. I wish I could communicate to him, to tell him that he needed to eat. “Look in the chest beside the bed” a wispy voice said to me. So I did, even though the ache in my lower body was so intense. In there I found something that I have never seen before. “Eat it,” I was told. “Put it in your speech hole and eat it, or else you will be banished from this world”
