“I still have nightmares about what happened back in my childhood, and I need help finding peace from what had that terrible day.” I asked desperately.
“Well to do that I would have to hear your thoughts about what had happened that day, and I’ll-” the councilor had been interrupted.
“I’ll do anything just help me please I can’t handle another nightmare like that ever again!” I shouted out while on the verge of tears.
“Very well … now then let’s start from the beginning alright.” the councilor had suggested.
Then he had calmly reached for the tape recorder of the far side of his desk, and while he pressed the record button he’d signaled me to begin.
“Ok it all started five years ago on October 21st, 2010 I’ll never forget that horrid night when I had lost closest friends.” I’d began my story while having a flash back to that fateful day.
It was like every other school day I waited for the bus at the stop sign on the corner of the block I lived on, and it was also the only place I could look forward going to. It’s the one place I know I could meet my four closest at the beginning of every day, and only if I knew it would be the last I would have regretted to go to school.
“Hey man!” said a familiar voice.
When I had turned around to answer the person I’d seen that it had been one of my closest friends. His name was Thomas, but everyone calls him Tom for short. He’s the star player for our school football team, and he defiantly looks the part standing at 5’11, weighing above average but not too much, sandy blonde hair, baby blue eyes, and he was built like a truck.
“Hey Tom how’s things going?” I asked.
“Good so far.” Tom replied, and then came along two more of my friends.
“Hey guy.” They said while approaching me and Tom.
“Oh hey Peter could I copy your math homework I forgot to do it?” asked Tom
Peter is pretty much the smartest one out of all of us, and no-one really questions that about him. Most of the time Peter would even look smart, because of the way he dresses every day, he wears glasses, blue jeans, white sneakers, and usually a checkerboard pattern shirt. Everyone recognizes him by his facial features with black hair, dark brown eyes, and his big ears that had used to be the way I could recognize him.
“Sure give me a second.” answered Peter.
“Do you ever do your homework?” asked Seth.
Now let me tell you about Seth. He’s pretty much the bad guy you never want to be, but that’s how everyone else thinks about him meanwhile those that are his friends knows that he really isn’t that type of guy. In reality Seth’s not a bad guy once you get to know him, and all the bad things he has done is a lie well most of it is. Though I have to say he looks like the bad kid everyone thinks he is, but that just makes people fear him when really he just wants to be shown respect by others. Seth usually wears some cool stuff too, but it’s mostly black shirts, red jackets, saggy jeans, and his favorite coal black Nikes@.
“You don’t have the best grades ether Seth!” remarked Tom.
“Alright guys lets calm down before this goes out of control.” Peter had announced.
“Fine…” agreed both Seth and Tom.
When they both was finally at terms with each other everything was back to normal, and meanwhile there was another familiar face had been approaching us also the one person I actually look forward to everyday.
“Hello everyone.” announced Sarah.
Now let me tell you about Sarah she’s that one girl that everybody had a crush on at least once before, and I’m one of those guy’s that does like her too. Sarah is the most musically talented, she gets good grades, she’s physically average, and she is of the laid back type of girl. Not to mention Sarah is the most beautiful girl in the entire school, and pretty much everyone would agree except those who already taken or my friends because, they know that I really like her so they don’t really try to mess with my chances with her. Sarah has brown hair, hazel colored eyes, she’s probably around 5’9, red and black checkerboard shirts, blue skinny jeans with rips in them, and she usually wears navy blue Converse@.
“Hey Sarah.” Everyone responded.
“Still getting in fights with each other I see.” Sarah stated.
After that there was a moment of silence between everyone.
“There’s the bus.” I had said to break the silence. Everyone got on the bus and had went their separate ways at school, and if you couldn’t tell yet we’re the weirdest group of friends based on our personalities. Other than that we get along great mainly because, we know a lot about how each other feels and thinks. At the end of school that day I had made a decision that would impact our lives more than we would’ve ever thought. Oh in case you was wondering my name is Darren, and I’m nothing special compared to my friends instead I’m considered average. Average height, weight, hair color, cloths, and average grades, but the only thing that’s different about me is my reaction to everyone I meet and that’s not really much if you think about it.
“Hey Darren isn’t it your turn to choose whether we walk or ride the bus home this week?” asked Tom.
“I’m not sure.” I said unsurely.
“Yeah it’s your turn this time Darren.” stated Peter.
“Ok let me think about it.” I responded.
“Well you better hurry class is about over, and we won’t see each other for the rest of the day.” Sarah commented.
“Alright then let’s go walking today, but let’s go a different route this time.” I’d answered. Everyone had nodded their heads without showing hesitation towards my idea.
“Are we going to take the short or long why this time?” wondered Seth
“Let’s go the long way this time ok I enjoy it more.” Sarah had suggested.
“Ok we go the long way this time with a new route, and let’s meet at the stop sign at the end of the school’s street.” I announced. Then the bell had dismissed us from school, and we’d all met at the stop sign as planned. After that we started walking towards our homes, and we had some nice conservations with each other along the way. Everyone had stopped in their tracks when we had noticed an old abandoned house, and as you’d expected we decided to check the place out like the curious kids we were. So we’d left all our things on the front porch of the house, and without any hesitation everyone entered through the front door.
“Now remember once we’re finished looking around we leave.” Tom had stated.
“Agreed!” we all replied.
While there we all had a great time exploring the old house, and it wasn’t really as bad as we’d thought it would’ve been. Just as I had thought everyone was finished exploring the house, and then Tom had found the very thing that had impacted our lives.
“Hey guys come and check this out!” announced Tom.
When everyone had gathered in the backyard where Tom was at the moment he’d pointed silently at a cellar.
“Wow a cellar that’s a good find.” Seth said sarcastically.
“Now before you start that with me look at it closely it’s locked, and now think about it why would an abandoned house have a brand new chain and lock on it.” Tom remarked.
Now that he mentions it that really doesn’t make a lot of sense to me ether, and it didn’t seem like I was the only one who was puzzled about this whole thing ether because, when I looked at the others they looked as clueless as I was.
“Let’s open it and see what the big secrete is.” suggested Tom.
“I’m all in for it.” replied Seth.
“Me too.” announced Peter not wanting to feel left out.
Then one after another everyone had agreed to open the cellar, and so we did there wasn’t anything around that we noticed that would help remove the chain and lock. Then I’d noticed a shed covered with vines and moss, and I had entered the old abandoned shed to see if the previous owners left any tools that could help us. Just as I was about to give up searching for something I’d about tripped over a rusty pair of wire cutters, and after that I had carried the wire cutters over to the chain and lock that kept the secret of the cellar from us. After a few minutes of trying to cut the chain it had finally worked, and then we was one step closer to the secret of the cellar we all wanted to know. “Well that takes cares of that.” I had announced to everyone.
“Thanks Darren, now let’s take a look at what’s inside.” Tom stated while opening the cellar.
When it was finally open we were all shocked with both fear and amazement by what we had seen. It looked like some kind of portal we couldn’t see what was on the other side, but all we did see was spiral colors mostly consisted of red, orange, black, and some white.
“See now wasn’t it worth it guys?” Tom asked us.
“I guess you really did have a good find after all.” Seth responded to Tom.
Everyone started to laugh to the thought of what we’d found just now, but then I started to wonder why someone would lock this up unless there was a good enough reason to, and just after that something happened that I will never forget.
“Ok everyone now we just have to get our own locks and chains that way no-one but us will be able to open the cellar.” Tom announced. “Also if anyone asks I found it o-...” Tom tried to suggest but was interrupted by something.
While everyone was waiting for Tom to finish he’d began to scream, and we were scared because we didn’t know why. Then he’d turned around and we saw that his hand had been bitten clean off, and he’d fell to the ground and as everyone headed towards him to help a giant black dog with glowing red eyes came out of the portal, and had bit into Tom’s leg then it dragged him through the portal. After that we all had ran as far away as possible not even looking back, and leaving everything behind mainly because, we all thought if we had stayed we would’ve died as well. Without even thinking about it we had left the cellar door wide open letting the monster escape, and that had been the worst mistake we could’ve ever made in our entire lives. TO BE CONTINUED…

Well to start off I wanted to give everyone a vivid imaganation with my story so I'd described the characters as much as possible. I had wrote this story because it was for a writing assiment in my english class. Also if this was to get enough good reviews I'll try to make a part two.
