In the tidal saltwater ocean, lives Leon the Shrimp. Leon’s home was the whole ocean surface and he never thought about going down towards the colorful coral ocean floor.
“Blopp Blopp Blopp.”
This is what Leon heard all the time from the ocean surface. Leon got tired of it and decided to go on a trip to the bottom of the ocean with his family. His family consisted of Crystal (mother), Bob (father) and Kaitlyn (sister). As Leon’s family started their trip towards the floor, Leon was very excited to see the multi-colored ocean floor. He also wanted to feel the smooth sand that layered up to build the ocean floor.
“There lies the bottom of the ocean,” hollered Crystal.
“Yes, mom. I am so eager to see the ocean floor,” exclaimed Leon.
“This boy is so anxious,” rejoiced Crystal.
The ocean seemed pitch black from the surface, but as Leon went down, the water got cleaner and clearer until it was crystal blue. As Leon landed on the ocean floor, he started gamboling in circles due to the excitement he got from the view of vibrant colored corals and flashy fishes that seemed to swim in paradise. Also, the sand felt like smooth silk sheets.
In the act of gamboling, it came to Leon’s attention that a beast was lying on the ocean floor not very far away from him. The beast’s mouth was wide open as if it were luring a prey into it’s trap. After seeing the beast, Leon swam back to it’s family and they started heading towards home.
Leon was so pleased that he was thousands of miles away from the beast that might have had eaten him.
Going on adventures was Leon’s favourite hobby. He always loved forming a herd of friends and exploring new parts of ocean every time. This time, his friends thought why not explore the ocean and meet a new friend. So, his friends decided to go visit Fabio the shark. According to his friends, Fabio lived on the ocean floor. Immediately, Leon thought about the beast that lived there.
Instantly, Leon uttered, “I can’t go. I… have… to… go to a party.”
“Don’t lie to us. We know that the party is tomorrow,” clarified Thomas, Leon’s best friend.
“Oh. Hehe… I guess I will come with you guys to visit the shark,” announced Leon. 
As all the shrimp approached the coral ocean floor, Leon noticed the beast in a faraway distance. As all of Leon’s friends surrounded the Fabio the shark, Leon was scared to death. Barry, Leon’s friend suddenly started chit-chatting with Fabio as all of the shrimp came to a stop. Suddenly, Barry calls Leon to talk to Fabio. Leon collected enough courage to face Fabio but still had a fearful expression.
“Fabio looks scary but he is harmless. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover,” yelled Barry.
After Barry introduces Leon to fabio, he leaves them alone to talk. And after hours of talking, Leon and Fabio end up being good friends. Leon convinces Fabio to come with him to explore the ocean every week.
