“ OO OO AH AH! OHH NOOOO!” yelled Mason. Gus squeaked and jumped to his feet. He scurried down the path, past the tall oak tree, and saw Mason standing there.
“Mason, you scared me half to death!” Gus squealed.
“I’m sorry! Do you know what happened?” Mason exclaimed, “I AM MISSING MY PRECIOUS  BANANAS, and you’re the only person that knows where they were! You must’ve taken them!”
Gus stared at Mason in disbelief.
“Why do you think I stole them?” Gus complained, “ I don’t even like bananas.”
“Gus! Just go. NOW!!” Mason hollered.
Gus ran as fast as he could, trying not to make Mason even more upset.
Mason paced back and forth, he was positive that Gus took his bananas. Once Mason calmed down he went to look for Gus.
“GUS? OO! GUS! Where are you?”
As he was looking for Gus he saw Randy, his cousin, pass by with a bunch of bananas. Mason knew his cousin wouldn't have so many bananas with him right now, especially out in the open for many others to take them.
“OO OO! Randy? What are you doing with all those bananas?” Mason questioned in a suspicious tone.
“Oh, OO I am just, ya know, going to, umm eat them.” Randy said.
Mason knew those had to be his bananas, especially because his family also knew where they were hidden.
Randy’s voice changed with guilt, “Mason OO, I’m really sorry, but these are your bananas. I’m so sorry, I was just oh so hungry.”
Mason replied calmly , “OO, it’s okay.”
Randy gave the bananas back to Mason and he was determined to find Gus, who was still missing.
“Gus, OO please answer me! I am so sorry,” Mason OOed again.
Gus walked out from behind the tall oak and waited for Mason to come back home. As Mason approached the oak in sadness he was surprised to see Gus sitting under it.
“Gus! Finally, OO I’ve been going bananas just looking for you.”
“Well, you found me!” Gus replied in a snarky way.
“Gus, I am so sorry for accusing you of stealing my bananas, OO it was actually my cousin Randy. He likes to monkey around, please forgive me!” Mason pleaded.
“Okay, Mason I forgive you, but no more assuming,” Gus answered in a strict tone,
After Mason apologized to Gus everything went back to normal, but most importantly Mason knew that before he could assume something he needed proof.
