Mom and Dad are Fighting Again
January 3rd, 2011 – Mom and Dad have been fighting more often. It only used to be a few times a week, but now it seems like it’s happening every day. It’s nothing too extreme. There’s no screaming or hitting, mostly just arguing loudly about dumb stuff. Like yesterday, they were arguing about the dishes. “Why didn’t you do the dishes like I asked you to a million times?!” Yeah, it was completely ridiculous.
On the bright side, I think our cherry tree is going to blossom soon.
January 8th, 2011 – It has gotten worse. Much worse than I have ever imagined it could be. Mom and Dad are still fighting every day, but now it’s different. They yell and scream, and I think that they might be going completely bonkers. I usually try to ignore the yelling, but it’s getting more difficult. All they do is scream at each other, and last night dad was sleeping on the sofa.
Our cherry tree still hasn’t blossomed.
January 20th, 2011 – A few nights ago, the fighting was the worst it has ever been.
“What were you thinking?!”
“I didn’t do anything wrong!”
“You know exactly what you did wrong. I can’t even look at you.”
Mom has been gone since then. I haven’t seen her, but I think she has been staying with grandma. I miss her terribly.
I don’t think our cherry tree is ever going to blossom.

I hope people really like this work, and I hope that they see the deeper meaning behind it. It's often hard to find inspiration when you're writing, and for me it wasn't very easy either. But I worked hard and I hope everyone likes it.
