Thinking to myself in my head,“I have not had a drink in nearly 10 years and now my high school reunion is right around the corner.” Taking my time picking out what I’m going to wear for the school reunion, I hear a RING! DING! RING! I slowly turn my head and notice that an old friend back from high school was calling me. Jimmy is the type of friend that like to give everyone drunk but do not want to take the responsibility to make sure they get home safe. Everytime I go somewhere with him it never turns out good. He calls me to see if I was going to the reunion. I told him, “I do not know if I’m going because I been trying to stop drinking because I have a job interview for the law firm in San Diego, California.”
He tells me, “ you at least have to have one drink with me it’s our ten year reunion, you not able to say no.” Thinking aloud on the phone, “Maybe I would have one or two drinks, what could go wrong?” As I eager start getting back ready for the reunion because I always had a crush or Jimmy and this could be the day we start our future. I have to wear something real cute and fitted. Maybe I would wear a dress or a cute jumpsuit. I’m going to wear a pair of blue jeans with some high heels. I quickly grab the phone to call my best friend Jasmine to see if she was going to the reunion. Come to find out she going and she will meet me at my house at seven o'clock on the dot.
When Jasmine enter the door, she have on a bodycon dress on with some six inch heels. We exit the door anxiously to get to reunion, so we can get a chance to see everyone we haven’t seen since high school. As we pulling into the school parking lot Jimmy and his friend comes to the car and open the door for us. Jimmy grab my arm and we walk into the reunion and everyone turns around and start clapping. I gradually look over at Jimmy and he is smiling and waving playing alone. I have this confuse and annoyed look on my face because I do not know what is going on. Everyone raised they glass and gave a toast. I walk over to the table and pick up a glass and toast with everyone. Even Though, I do not have an idea what they were giving a toast to.
Once I start drinking I could not help my self, the drinks lead from one to three cups to five to ten cups. Once it was my time to get up on stage to speak I could not even stand up straight. I wobble from one spot to another spot on the stage. I could not even talk into the mike the right way. Thinking to myself as I walk of the stage, “Once again I embarrass myself in front everyone that did not even know that I had a drinking problem as a teen growing up. I can not believe that I let my teachers and even my close friends down.”

Everyone is staring at me like I just been convicted of an murder. My head is pounding, it feel like I been hit in the head with an hammer. My feet is shaking, my eyes are blurry, and I can not feel my hands. Once everyone have left the auditorium I notice that I’m the only one there and Jasmine have left with everyone else. As I lift up out the chair on to my feet I notice I feel air hit my legs and I know I had on pants. If only I could remember where I left my pants.
