Evil for evil
They knew who the criminal was, the man who had killed three others. The
law couldn't touch him. They needed proof that he did it. There was an anonymous confession, but graffiti on a bathroom stall isn't enough proof for the judge to make a conviction. It was however, enough to get a search warrant to search the 17 year old's apartment.
The apartment was rather empty. The apartment bedroom had a cot in one
corner, a bin for clothes, and a little bedside table. Although the bedside table had nothing in it, at least not by the time they had opened it. If they had shown up two days prior, they would have found the one hundred feet of unused, camouflaged designed rope that was used for the crime, and only the rope would have been in there, tucked all the way in the back corner of the draw. Two days before that, it would have been stuffed full with an assortment of what most people would consider useless junk. Random tools, scattered papers, a few old memories, and some actual junk. He had cleaned out his entire bedroom because he knew he would be leaving soon for one reason or another.
This teenager was a Christian man that was corrupted. He had gone through a
lot of s*** in the past two years, and while he still had faith in The Lord, he wasn't so religious anymore. He knew he would probably be damned to Hell at this point, but he was content with that even before he took a life. Everyone deserved to go to Hell, and are only saved because of the grace of God, but he felt that even though he was a follower of God, that he still deserved to be damned. He was sinful and he knew he couldn't change the way he thought. And while he was alright with going to Hell, a part of him wanted to feel the pits of fire regardless of his sin. Just out of curiosity.
He was still a good man at heart. This man killed three others, but he killed
rapists. Three rapists that the man knew. All of them had raped close friends of his. He decided to pay them back. All three men had been found naked, tied up, hanging from the ceiling. Cause of death: slowly strangled by their own body weight as the rope around their neck tightened as they struggled mid-air from the torture given for what they did to the women they raped. He knew that it was still sinful and unlawful, but he couldn't forgive these men. And as far as anyone else knew, he was innocent. They wouldn't be able to find proof. He would get away with murder. Aside from law enforcement just doing their job, no one would mind having these three men dead. The case would soon be dropped.
