Litter
I saw the world unfolding before me in a yellow light. Everything looked as if it had been passed through a cliche filter. The air reeked of gasoline and city sweat so I closed my nose and breathed through my eyes, letting the off white clouds saturate me with their vanilla dew. Sidewalk squares passed beneath me like a conveyor belt, pushing me away to my destination. I stopped dead; yellow fading to orange to red to night in a split second. We are all pieces of trash floating in stale wind waiting for a convict to clean us up.
