Megumi Shimizu
Megumi Shimizu was an out of the ordinary girl. She would dress outlandishly and extravagantly. However, since she was the only on in her home town to dress this way, people judged her. She hated her home town. It was boring, ugly, and lacked personality. Everyone dressed in the same boring clothes, and did the same boring things. The only person she liked was a boy named Natsuno. He would stare at the mountains, longing to leave the town as well. However, he did not like her. Her crush would remain one sided for the rest of her existence. Eventually, a new family moved into town. They lived in a castle-like house up on a hill, over looking the town. Megumi longed to meet these new people. Maybe they would understand her feelings, unlike the rest of the town. The next time someone saw her, she was face down in the dirt, suffering from anemia. It wasn't long until she died.
After her rising, she attacked those who had ridiculed her. However, when the humans found out what was happening, they hunted the 'corpse demons', which included Megumi, Nao, and Natsuno. Megumi, the last to survive, attempted to escape to the city. Before she knew it, the humans had run over her arm with a tractor. The humans mistreated her as a corpse, and as a human. She just wanted to graduate high school and leave the drab town and live in the city. No one cared as she screamed in pain. The second tractor finally reached her, and crushed her skull. To finish her off, they drove a stake into her heart.
