Money Over Mind
Oftentimes, people assume that money isn’t everything. They believe that love is about personality and you’re supposed to actually care about your significant other. Three girls, however, disagree; there is nothing “significant” about your other, except for their money.
“How are we going to snatch one today, Nicole? Should we sweep in like a witch on her broomstick, or pounce like a lion?” Janelle asked her friend. Nicole shrugged and turned to the third in the trio, Michelle, hoping for a response. They were sitting on bar-stools at their local diner trying to decide who their prey would be for the day. All of them were absolutely jaw-dropping with perfect hair, perfect teeth, perfect clothes. Yet they had all had their hearts broken at one point or another. They had all sworn off love for good and had changed their focus purely to bling bling.
Although their tactics didn’t seem tasteful they had an uncanny ability to trick wealthy men into giving them money. They were con artists who never failed, and those they tricked never had a clue they had been fooled. While contemplating their strategy for the day Nicole turned her head to see a sweet and nice and six-foot-two man come in. He had a black faux hawk and eyes of blue and she instantly knew she had found her prey.

She looked toward her partners in crime and noticed they were eyeing his car through the window. She whispered to her friends, “You can tell he’s drippin’ dollars, so of course I have to hollar.”

She put on her flirtatious face, turned toward her prey like a cheetah going in for the kill, and yelled “Hey rich boy, look my way! Hey rich boy, make my day!” She knew it would work; it did every time. He turned toward the girls, surprised at first, and then sauntered toward them afte realizing their beauty. On closer inspection, they realized he was actually extraordinarily unattractive. But that wasn’t what they cared about. They continued to put on their prettty smiles even as his strong smelling cologne wafed toward them. They knew the scent; it was over a hundred dollars for a single ounce bottle. Perfect. As he approached, the three stood up and surrounded him. He would be an easy catch. Each of them put a perfectly manicured hand on his shoulder- a seemingly flirtatious gesture, but they were really just feeling the fabric on his jacket to determine it’s quality.

“I just love your jacket.” Janelle whispered in his ear. “It looks expensive. I wish I had one for myself.” She looked him directly in his eyes, knowing she would have his jacket before he left the diner. The trio had lived with the philosophy that wealthy people enjoy being recognized as such, and they fall for it every time. Mention their cars, their expensive clothing, and they will instantly be throwing cash at you.

“And that car! Take me for a spin!” Michelle said excitedly, staring at his beautiful Corvette. He instantly obliged and the four walked out to his car. This was their routine; they knew it very well and had practiced it a hundred times. Nicole would grab the front seat, so she could easily find his information, while the other two sat in the backseat and searched for cash. After exactly twenty two minutes Michelle would say she needed to use the restroom while the others would say they were thirsty. He would try to step out to buy them a drink, but they would say he didn’t have to step out of the car for them and he would offer them his wallet. They would all walk into the bathroom and write down all of his credit card information, steal some of his cash, and then buy themselves drinks. He would try to take them to his house and they would kindly deny his request, he would drop them off back at the diner, and then they would do it all over again.
Most of their “clients” were unattractive and unintelligent young men. They were stupid with their money and that was exactly how they liked it. Money over mind.
