Party with the Monster
It’s year 2016, you just finished high school. It has been one big adventure but you maintained a 3.6 throughout the four treacherous years. Yea high school had its ups and its downs but you have been accepted to college. Not community college but the real deal, a university. You are able to stay in your home state and around your family because you were accepted to Michigan State University. GO GREEN!
You didn’t plan on any of that changing. Didn’t plan on everything taking a turn for the worst but, life isn’t always in our favor. You also didn’t plan on falling in love, at least not the way you did. Didn’t plan on falling in love with a monster, a monster known as meth but, was it really love or was it an addiction?
During sophomore year you smoked weed once or twice with your friends. It wasn’t an everyday thing and it was never more than weed. You have been offered meth, cocaine and heroin a couple times here and there but you never accepted it. Never even thought of trying it, you didn’t want to take the chances of getting hooked. It only takes one time to get hooked, one time to ruin your life; you would tell people when they offered it up. It only took you that one time…..that one time to get hooked and that one time to ruin your life. It just took you that one time to say yes.
Your friends told you about a house party. It was a most go even though you were grounded. Snuck out, knowing that this wasn’t just another party. You had that feeling telling you this wasn’t just another house party. Drinking wasn’t on your mind but neither was smoking.
You decided to pick up your bestie on the way so you weren’t all alone. She told you that he was going to be at the party. That he wasn’t just a normal he, the he your bestie was talking about was the same he you have been drooling over since the 6th grade. That he was Adam and he was going to be at the same party as you.
