Snow Day
A small little boy oohs and awes as tiny white cotton balls fall to the ground. His emerald green eyes sparkle as he watches the snow fall.
“Lily, Lily! Look at all the snow!” he laughed jumping up and down. A small girl beside him watches as her sapphire blue eyes become glued to the snowflakes.
“It’s so pretty Felix!” she said spreading her hands out to catch the snow. All of a sudden both the kids were hit with snowballs!
“Come on silly gooses stop daydreaming!” an older boy says as he gets another snowball ready.
“Oh, it’s so on Gaven! Come on Lily!” Felix said diving into the snow to build a fort. Lily simply nodded and proceeded to help her brother make a fort.
“Oh come on! That’s not fair!” Gaven laughed throwing snowballs at them.
“Is so! You’re bigger than us!” Felix said throwing a snowball back. He missed horribly hitting a tree. Gaven laughed so much he didn’t notice Lily getting a snowball ready. Smack!
“Aw right! Bull’s eye! Nice shot Lily!” Felix laughed before he was met with same fate as Gaven.
“Hey no fair I wasn’t ready!” Felix protested as Gaven and Lily laughed. The continued their assault on the older boy. Felix gave up throwing the snowballs eventually though. Due to the fact he couldn’t hit Gaven at all. So he left it to his sister who seemed to always hit his face or chest. It didn’t take long for Gaven to put his arms in the air and drop is ammo.
“I give I give!” He pleaded chuckling at the fun they had. Lily and Felix smiled at one another snowballs in hand.
“We got our first prisoner of war Lily!” Felix laughed jumping up and down joyful.
“Hey I never agreed to that!” Gaven protested tackling Felix to the ground. He proceeded to throw snow on top of him as they both laughed. Lily then chucked a bunch of snow on Gaven’s head. Felix began to roll in the snow laughing uncontrollably.
“What was that for!?” Gaven asked throwing the snow off him.
“That’s what you get for pulling a sneak attack!” Lily giggled sticking her tongue out at Gaven.
“Yeah she’s right!” Felix said regaining control of himself.
“Ok, ok what do I have to do to make it up to you guys?” Gaven asked sitting in the snow his hands up in defense.
“Hmmm how about you treat us to hot chocolate?” Lily asked looking at her brother to see if it was a good idea.
“Oh yeah! Your hot chocolate is the best!” Felix said jumping up and down.
“Ok, ok hot chocolate it is.” He said getting up and walking into their cozy house.
“Yeah!” Felix and Lily shouted running in after him. Today truly was the best snow day ever!
