Qualities of Feelings

People think being a person is the hardest job in the world, they should think again. Have they ever thought about my job? I work hour after hour, until my writer is finally finished typing. With my job, I have been through everything, being dropped, getting yelled at, being hit, and even dying, but then I am brought back to life. Luckily, my job also has positive attributes as well. All in all, my job is not the best, but some moments are actually a lot of fun. Most of my writers are very kind, except one of my horrible nightmares, a teenage boy whose heart was made out of stone.

The first day the young boy received me, he hollered at me, “Why are you not working?” The monster, teenage boy, screamed at me as loud as a person would scream when they get a finger caught in a car door. “Ouch! Stop banging on my keys. I have feelings too you know.” The boy became very irate at me because I received a brain freeze and froze up. Startled, scared, and distressed at the sound of the first scream I unfroze immediately. The boy has no patience at all, and he continuously bangs on my keys like I am a piano and screams right to my screen all day long. A few hours later the boy, whose name was Mark, was playing on the internet, suddenly Safari quit unexpectedly. The boy blamed the whole incident on me, when it was not my fault. I am not able to fill in someone else’s shoes, especially Safari’s. Unfortunately, at the same moment that I was dying, which was not a very good feeling either, my owner could care less about charging me. At that specific moment, I felt drained, ruffled, and saddened. He threw me onto the ground with all of his wrestling skills. I was about to cry at that very second, I was in so much pain, and felt ruined. I felt like I was falling down Niagara Falls. Luckily, I did not brake like Humpy Dumpy.

The very next day, Mark was in a surprisingly very good mood and decided to actually complete his homework on me. I thought it was raining cats and dogs. However, the only way he could do his homework was to put his monkey flash drive into me. At first, I was a little skived out but, as soon as he put the flash drive in, I felt like a an entirely different person. I met a brand new friend that day but first I had to check all of his documents to make sure he was loyal. Then, I realized for once I am not lonely, which felt amazing, so I just made him my friend even though I never met the monkey. Suddenly, I felt a little tickle in my stomach. I realized it was a long time since I was actually being typed on. A smile from ear to ear appeared, and I felt so relaxed, so comforted like I was in heaven. As Mark finished typing his homework, he finally realized that my percentage box only had twelve percent remaining. Mark turned around and grabbed his charger, which took a weight off my chest. Feeling fresh, relaxed, and rested is how I felt when I was being charged until I was one hundred percent perfect. Finally, Mark made me feel magnificent, masterful, and miraculous.

One night, Mark went shopping and came back with a black, army laptop case. Without any second guesses, Mark plopped me right inside. All I could see was pitch black and I could not even hear the sound of a pin drop. The room was still and I was not able to move a key. I was terrified and felt friendless but realized that he was trying to protect me. Luckily, after twenty minutes, which felt like a year, Mark pulled me out where there was wonderful scenery surrounding me. There were beautiful trees all around and a swing set right behind me. Feeling a little creative, Mark decided to change my background that was the same as the beautiful scenery surrounding us. Now, I would be able to blend in with the autumn orange and red leaves. Suddenly, I felt original and unique. Soon, I realized that my owner is not so dreadful and mean after all.
