Beyond front lines
“Are we really doing this?” she asked.
“Well, there’s no turning back,” I reply.
We moved into Japanese lines hearing them speaking in Japanese. Creeping closer…SNAP I broke a stick, the Japanese panicked.
When a grenade is thrown my body just reacted. I leaped on the grenade to save my wife, but nothing went off.
