Process of Writing

Oh thy writing instrument in my hand
With the white erasor sitting on top
With it I shall write poems that cross lands
The poems that will make people's heads pop
As I start to click the top lead comes out
I think about what I should write about
I get a piece of paper from my pad
My writer's block begins to get me mad
I ponder about a writing topic
Suddenly my pencil begins to fly
I finish and put it in my pocket
It would seem as though I bid you goodbye
But worry not for you shall not forget
Since this is the first time that we have met
