Jerk This work has been published in the Teen Ink monthly print magazine.

I love your voice,
your soft brown hair.
I love your eyes
and love your stare.

I love your laugh,
your cocky smirk,
your stupid jokes.
You precious jerk,

you know I do.
I want my hands
all through your hair
each treasured strand.

I’m wrapped around
your finger still.
Am I yet yours?
Your love does kill

the things I hold
so close to me
and yet you’re the
best jerk I see.

I always love when i see a poem speak purely from mindflow-it doesn't even matter what its about if it's "real"-i dont mean real as in fiction nonfiction but real like truly from you (the author) :) keep it up dude :P

well done! i think this is a great example of how love is inevitable and we can help if who we love is a 'jerk' or not

Totally relatable!  Great job.  This is beautiful but seems to have a bit of sarcastic humor too.  Love it!

I know exactly how you feel. Its like, you love him, but you're almost mad at yourself for loving him because he's a jerk. THis has happened to me many times before. Keep on writing girl :)

I love this poem! I relate to it so much. You never realize what love you had until its gone.

This is so sweet. People don't know about love until it's said and done.
