Summary: Stella is a dancer. No one knows except her. She lives simply in Crete with her family, raising animals and crops on a farm. Struck by poverty, her family suddenly has no hope when they discover that her mother has breast cancer. A sponsor from America offers to take her family in and give her mother treatment. Stella never thought in her entire life that she would leave her village, no less her country. But when she meets Dean, a rebel, they end up romancing, which Stella promised herself she'd never do. And as all love stories go, Stella and Dean find themselves trapped in two completely different worlds.
