The Difference Between Diversions

Summary:
Marilyn Knox likes to think that she is fifteen years too old. Her face was badly disfigured in a house fire, and every day, she sees the world as a less and less beautiful place. When her drug addicted sister, Ryan, goes missing, Mari feels as if her world is falling apart.
Jack Merrick and his family are struggling to work together. His image-obsessed mother becomes more and more controlling, and he is starting to give up on his family.
When Jack and Marilyn meet, they form a friendship like no other that soon blossoms into romance. But not all is meant to be a typical love story. This isn't a story of true love, it is a story of forgiveness.
