Summary:

This is a short story. It is about 2700 words. Anabelle is a typical teenage girl in her senior year of high school. Her mother, Gladys constantly pressures her to get good grades, eat healthy, and lives vicariously through her daughter. The day we meet Anabelle, she has a terrible day at school, a day you just won't believe! Her next day isn't any better and she makes a certain decision to cope with the problem.
This short story written in third person limited, and is a sarcastic view on teenage society. It showcases and dramatizes problems that normal teens go through and how they feel they have to cope with them.
