Celebrating the Women Who Made History

March is the month to celebrate women of the past and present and those close to your heart. Between Women's History Month and International Women's Day (March 8), now is the perfect time to share your appreciation for your mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmas, teachers and friends! To help celebrate women everywhere, we have compiled poems, stories and tributes about womenkind.

Women's History Month was established in 1987 to recognize the impact and accomplishments of women in American history. On March 8, women around the world are recognized for their "social, economic, cultural and political achievements," according to the International Women's Day website. Celebrate this year by submitting your art, poetry, writing and more about a woman in your life who has made a difference!
