It seemed like the slope would never end. With Gabe wrapped tightly in his arms and the snow getting harder, the sled had come to a stop. Jonas had hopped off the sled when he saw a bright light peeking through the snow storm. Just then, Jonas lost consciousness and dropped Gabe in the snow.
