Birkenstock Letter
Dear Mr. David Kahan,
I’m a five time repeat customer of Birkenstock and your sandals have become my new fad. I’ve been in love with your Birkenstock sandals ever since I saw my friend wearing them in eighth grade. As someone who is constantly on the go, I found your sandals to be perfect for me everyday needs. Your sandals provide my aching feet with comfort, and protection from blisters. Most sandals I’ve tried have given me blisters on the sides of both my feet, but thankfully your sandals form to the shape of my feet and save me from these disasters. I appreciate all of the work you put into your shoes; however, my last pair of Black Suede Arizona Birkenstocks, size 9, didn’t fulfill my needs.
About six months ago, my Grandparents purchased a pair of Black Suede Arizona Birkenstocks for me. I used these sandals for normal occasions, walking my dog, walking around the mall etc, but they started to fall apart during the first month of use. Six months later, my favorite shoes are unwearable. The soles are halfway detached from my shoes and the cork material is beginning to wear away. As a repeat customer, I know that Birkenstock sandals should last up to 30 years: however, my sandals didn’t last me one year. I’m deeply saddened that I’m unable to wear my sandals and expect a company like yours to attempt to repair or replace my unusable sandals.
I will continue to be a loyal, returning customer of yours as I understand the pride your company takes in Birkenstock shoes. I’ve purchased many pairs of Birkenstock sandals and have never had any problem besides the current one I’m facing. As a devoted customer, I hope you are able to repair or replace my last pair of Birkenstock sandals.
Please contact me at the address above. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and please consider my request.
Sincerly,
Taylor M
