Unrequited Love

Day by day she stared,
As he sat in his stool,
Her eyes lingered on his hair which formed waves like ripples in a pool,
And even though he didn’t care,
Her love for him did not pare,
She could not help but drool,
Over how he was so cool,
Even if her love for him was like a snare,
She fell in it every time,
When she fell the pain was like getting hit by a car,
And she couldn’t help but whine,
But then she remembered his dreamy presence which made her feel as if she was among the stars,
And how he was so fine,
So she kept worshipping him, in secret, as if he were a tzar
