Gullible
What did I ever do? Just please tell me
Of the toil I have caused now or before
I wish that the whole entire world would be
In front of me as I confess my wars
With the humans of the earth. I desire
Such a forgiveness that would replenish
My heaviest of regrets. In red fire
They would be burned, replaced by my wishes
Of who I’d want to be. But the world doesn’t
Care about my saying sorry to them,
They would much more rather watch me so rot,
And turn into their poor and precious gem.
I give them all I can possibly give,
When their punishment is for me to live.
