There is only one way I am heard.
It’s not through using a loud microphone,
It’s not through the songs of the flying birds,
It’s not through friends talking on the phone.

It’s through music that I feel wild and free;
I get confidence and can now be heard.
Music is a way to show the real me;
This me that can't dance and is a big nerd.

Music gets my personality out.
Music gets me up and I start to dance;
To have lots of fun in a place of doubt.
To be different and get out of life’s trance
