When things were at their worst, they held you tight.
Came to the rescue in all times of need.
Lovingly loving you with all of their might,
And willingly teaching you how to proceed.
At the worst of times, they taught you how to smile.
Made the sun come out on the darkest days.
Helped you realize, everything you do is worthwhile,
And made you happy in all the best ways.
They do their best to teach you everything, they've learned,
And hope to God that you use it all in a good way.
They liberate you even though they trust you’ve learned.
Don’t worry, all things will be swell, one day.
Now they must leave and observe from above,
In hopes you succeed with their endless love.
