Family Matters
  Family is what matters in life the most.
  You don’t choose them they are chosen for you.
  You celebrate together with a toast;
  they are there to help when you need them to
  They are there to comfort you when your sad;
  they know all about you inside and out.
  When you do something wrong they don’t get mad;
  they can get you to laugh and not be sad
  You love all of them until their last day;
  nothing is the same and you want them back.
  Oh, what could you do and what could you pay?
  To have them alive in the family pack.
  Your family member is gone forever.
  But the funny memories are never.

This is a good poem to read after a loved one dies. It tells you to live on in their memory and enjoy the family that is still with you.
