Sonnet 4 – California
  Cool breeze blows your hair
  Trees swaying so delicately
The smoke leaves your lungs exquisitely
Gentle whispers let me know you’re there
Voice as hypnotizing as the orchestra
  Tight grip on my waist
  Dancing at a slow pace
Boy my heart you gently strum
  We love like rebels
  Yet our hearts ethereal
  Higher on so many levels
  It’s truly imperial
Old souls trapped in a new world,
  But still reign in California.

This poem is about a 21st century couple still stuck in the years between the 20's and 60's. Although those times have passed and they seem too young to have even experienced life in those times, they're old souls reliving the passed in a new age.
