I have not failed, I just found 10,000 ways to not succeed.

All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream.

Meet me in the forest where the blue birds sung.
Look for me at the tree by the hill side.
Find me where we played when we were young,
And leave all your responsibilities behind.
Come to me where the river is crystal blue.
Stay with me where the animals won't bother.
Leave with me to a place we once knew
That all we needed in life was each other.
Leave your busy life behind in the city,
Escape the worries that cling to your head.
Forget the place where we lived in reality
That made all our hopes and dreams dead.
Meet me in the forest where the blue birds sung.
Find me where we loved when we were young.

The author's comments:

The forest represents childhood and the purity of imagination while the city represents growing up. Enjoy!

Life is like a box of chocolates; You never know what you are gonna get.

Beautiful poem. I was dreamy there for a moment. Keep it up!

You make everything sound so deep and beautiful. It's an amazing talent. I'll read and comment on all your poems if you like
