A date with death
Hiding my nerves, asked for a high school dance
A single rose falls from my hand to stone
  A lousy dream; I didn't have a chance
I swallow tears, I will not be alone
Now time has passed, but I'm still in denial
A garden shine-I'm not hung up on you
I try again, you say I'm "not your style"
My world takes on a redish tinted hue.
I have tired of your flirty mind game
"No" time and time again without a fail
I get fed up and shoot, am I to blame?
Because of you I'm locked away in jail
Flowers from me; never on your stone grace
love I felt gone, I hate your pretty face
