Flame and Steel

Let them tremble in fear
At what they had awoke
The legend that’s here
Has yet to be broken.
They make it feel angry,forgotten, alone
But dust turns to dust
The shadow to bone
The red pain to rust.
The trials make it stronger,
Like steel tempered in fire,
A victim no longer,
Nor a shell in a pyre.
That time is long gone.
I am no longer your pawn.
