One Love Never Meant to be Heard

She never ever wanted to tell them
Stupid investigator got hired
Girlfriend’s mom suspected from the despair
Knowing the truth was highly required
Her parents found out what was going on
Crying and screaming they did all day long
Wondering how the sweet girl could be gone
Trying to understand how they went wrong
The loneliness shows on the pillow case
She holds her own hand at 2 in the morn
Tossing and turning when all she can taste,
Is the venom of the day she was born
She keeps it bottled in with a smile,
When her friends say its been awhile.
