She was Finished
All I hear are the shouts of agony
I’m running, running away from all the years of searing pain
But, I stop and halt. Its like all the gravity
has left, and all I now hear is blood pumping through my veins

Images passing through my mind so fast
Tears flowing from my mother’s face, she has no say
All the memories haunting me from my past
And now death is knocking at the door waiting for its pay.

 No one stopped to realize
 That her wrist were scarred
 She would fantasize
of being released from these mental bars.

Too bad the knife didn’t cut deep enough in the skin,
Because then it could have been the last breath she let in.
