The distance I travel--
Just me and the ice--
pumping forward solely
to fine wonders and the next best thing.
Each morning that is bright, I practice training
for the purpose of an Olympic future.
Every tomorrow guarantees pushing outward in motions--
of a chance to become a champion.
Me, the American, confident
to compete for the Olympic gold.
