I'm falling, falling down the wishing well.
Into a dream land full of nightmares, oh
Oh, how the darkness pulls me in, so - How
I twist, I turn, I mumble and speak in
Of the terrors haunting my every dream.

The constant darkness, the eerie silence
All so deafening, so blinding so strong,
What to do, what to do about this, oh
Oh, it is me who conjures up these dreams
I am the one who dreams them, why do I?

The darkness, the silence, it's deafening.
A blinding sun, a blinding dream, Oh how
I wake up from these nightmares, sweating, oh
How I wake up in fear, fear of my dreams.

Yet again, another attempt of writing poetry for my creative writing class. This time we were supposed to write a sonnet which I didn't quite like how we had to have exactly fourteen lines and ten syllables in each line. It was very complicated and my poem probably doesn't make sense to anyone, but here it is :)
