My moves are never balanced
I always seem to fall
Once I think I've made it through
There's always another wall

My words are never clear
I'm hardly ever heard
Once I think I've made my point
Nobody's heard a word

My looks aren't all that great
I get looks here and there
Once I think I look my best
Nobody wants to stare

My smarts are probably average
But I always try my best
Just when I think I've got it
I rank below the rest

I never seem to shine
In anything I've ever done
Why can't I just for once
Shine brighter than someone
