Broken Prayer
She sat and waited, air filled with abundance
Latent her fear of becoming askew
And staring into the sky, she began her repentance
A bundle of sins, dismayed by a few

The tears from her face, a pool of regret
She sits within her blackened confining
And so come the words she’ll never forget
 His wisdom and righteousness intertwining

Her guilt now floods her most treasured gate
Can’t take them back, so she drowns in unease

And among those few was her helpless thrive
That caused her to curse the man she derived
