The Truth
The best part, it could never ever end
If we wanted, forever it could last
But in a world full of certain pretend
I have definitely learned from my past
The truth, there is no point in telling them
Ultimately it could only bring pain
A true connection, my love, is my gem
But eventually I am just drained
 This pressure, constantly sneaking around
Worrying about the truth that can't change
This difference, no chance to show how proud
I am. Along with these other youths here
Living in fear, just trying to stay strong
They are sick, because we've done nothing wrong.
