My life senseless in much pain and in death,
I was heartbroken like pieces of glass,
fragile rose stomped and spit upon with sass.
Tired of this, wanted to take my breath
negative thoughts flowing throughout my mind,
looking for a place to escape and rest,
cause with all this weight I can’t do my best,
I guess I won’t get to the finish line,
Though that was only me over thinking,
now I’ve seen the light and I’m filled with glee
thank God for the happiness he gave me,
who gives the freedom, and for him I sing.
For now I shine brighter than the suns rays.
Praise the Lord that I am out of the maze

This is part two, to my previous poem "Silence". This is my sonnet and it is something I really went through and I love expressing it through poems.
