The ripples quickly build until the shore
Each one is slightly diff'rent than before
Another world lies underneath the waves
Where mermaids sing and fish all dance galore!

The water tickles the sand with great care
Each grain is polished till it's thin as air
The salty breeze is heavy with lost words
For oceans were made with tears of despair

The children innocently watch the sea
So unaware of how strong it can be
Good will exist if there is something bad
And all things that are wild are also free

I long to join the underwater place
When I'm submerged my problems soon erase
My lungs can't stand the atmosphere below
That may be why we cry in its embrace
