A Love Sonnet For Nerds
We all are so very, very, young still
Not ruined by time, age, death, or decay
Faster, stronger, quicker than our fathers
Ready to reach out and explore the new
Product of ten thousand years' perfection:
 Your chromosomes aligned beautifully
All your facial parts in the right order
Your spindle fibers strong and full of life
 You make my pulmonary arteries
Pass more blood through vessels than required
 And my enzymes produce adrenaline
I won't write of violets or red roses
No, to me, it's a scientific love.
