Art is the essence of love, love is the essence of art.
I'd rather have a thousand regrets because I thought with my heart than play it safe and think with my mind, never knowing what was out there.
The world has a voice. You just have to give it permission to speak

She couldn't feel, she couldn't speak
She felt so dumb, she felt so weak
She told them she felt so alone
And then, she was afraid of home

All she could see was fading scars
That kissed her skin like dimming stars
All she could feel was soggy tears
And broken love and wasted years

Love was all that she did crave
She stayed alone, she played it safe
That's all she felt that she could do
So many mumbled "I love you" 's

She's hold it in and then she'd weep
Nightmares sewn into her sleep
All she could do was sit and cope
And dream of somewhere there was hope

Her heart chained in behind steel bars
With soggy tears and dimming stars...
