At The Beach
The first step I take I feel the hot sand
 I hear the breaking of the ocean wave
 I look up and see the beauty across the land 
 "Put on more sunscreen,” says my dad named Dave
 I lay out so I can bake in the sun
 When I'm nice and colored I take a dip
 I look down at the shells, there are tons
 Lying by the water I enjoy a chip
 At night we all run down to the boardwalk
 And enjoy cotton candy and popcorn
 While sitting on the long, wooden sea dock
 Then boom, boom, boom the loud Ferris wheel horn
 "Gather up for our photo" says my dad
 With his big, wide grin that makes me feel glad.
