Fallen
Some days I feel a little brighter
When the sun sets on the horizon
And I see the birds flying, higher and higher
 This beauty has me smitten

 Yet nothing compares
To what I see in you
I’ve had a lot of loves
 But never someone who cares

 Your eyes mesmerize me
 Your touch makes me shiver
 These emotions wash over me
 Like a cascading river

 My friends laugh at you
 They think you’re a freak
 I know they’re wrong
 If they can’t be nicer
 They shouldn’t even speak

 I dream about you
 Your kiss lifts me higher
 It burns right through
 Just like a raging fire

I wait by the oak tree
 You come here everyday
I hope for just one moment
 Just one, to simply say

 This might sound crazy
 But hey, it’s the truth
 God so help me
I think I’ve fallen for you
